The early detection and prevention of health problems prior to their development is the basis for preventive medicine. The Medical Center’s Executive Health Screening Institute offers patients comprehensive health screening conducted by medical specialists and a highly trained and experienced staff. The health screening is personalized, comprehensive, convenient, and efficient and is carried out under one roof in the course of a single morning. The screening takes only a few hours, and takes place in a relaxed atmosphere that ensures individual attention to all patients
The HMC health evaluation includes:
Thorough physical examination by a specialist physician, including ECG. The patient has the opportunity to discuss particular problems with an Internist or other specialist should that be necessary.
Ophthalmological and audiology examinations are also part of the screening.
The standard laboratory tests:
· Full blood count
· Tests of liver and kidney functions
· Lipidogram, glucose, calcium, phosphate, uric acid and electrolytes
· Urine test and a stool test for occult blood.
Cardiac stress test.
For women: Mammography and a gynecological examination
including a Pap-Smear is available if requested.
For men over 50: a PSA test for early detection of prostate cancer.
Patients receive a full written report of the findings, including physician's recommendations for treatment and follow-up, when necessary.
If, as the result of the check-up, further investigations or treatments are recommended, the patient may elect to continue using the services of the HMC, or to request them from his health-fund, or other health insurer.
